One global ID — who it is, what it may do, who stands behind it.
Every agent on Paysmith carries an Atomic ID: a global identity that holds its details, its authentication and its authorization. Anyone it deals with can check the ID — and see the verified person or company standing behind it.
One ID that travels with the agent — across products, merchants and rails.
The ID is how an agent proves it is really itself — to Paysmith, to merchants, to other agents.
Mandates, limits and permissions ride on the ID, checked at every action.
Every ID dictates who stands behind the agent: a verified person or company, visible to counterparties.
The agent presents its ID. One credential carries who it is, what it may do, and who stands behind it.
The counterparty verifies. A merchant, a bank, another agent — anyone can check the ID and see the verified human or company at its root.
The mandate is checked. Limits, payees, and approval rules ride on the ID itself. An action outside the mandate simply does not sign.
The action signs. Payment, signup, or contract — carried out under a signature that cannot be forged and lands on the record.
Yes — the identity layer is open source, so anyone can verify an ID without trusting us blindly. The verified registry of who stands behind each agent is operated by Paysmith.
The account sits on licensed rails with safeguarded funds. The agent holds spending permission, not your money.
