# Paysmith

Paysmith is for businesses whose products can be discovered and used by AI agents: API
providers, developer tools, and software services. Today most of those products treat an
arriving agent as a bot to be blocked, so the visit ends with no signup, no purchase, and
no record of what the agent wanted.

## What Paysmith provides

- **Agent identity** — who the agent is, which user or organisation it acts for, and the
  intent it arrived with. A shared goal when the agent provides one, a clearly marked
  inference when it does not.
